[Baek Jong Won's Alley Restaurant Roundup] 11th Alley (Part 1)

Nationwide ratings for this week's episode: 9.5% (cr. Naver TV)

This episode marks the 11th alley the show is helping out. The alley is located near a university but it shows that just because you're near a university with lots of students doesn't mean you'll have a lot of revenue. For this alley, the restaurants participating is a pizza restaurant, KBBQ restaurant, chicken restaurant, and rice in a cup restaurant.

Baek Jong Won doesn't have a good experience with helping out pizza restaurants on the show because the two pizza restaurants that have appeared on the show have received so much backlash because the restaurant owners were super stubborn, not open to receiving suggestions, were too greedy to receive just the solution from Baek Jong Won but wouldn't bother trying to change themselves and their mistakes. And the past pizza restaurants always tasted bad. This pizza restaurant is the third pizza restaurant to come out on the show and Baek Jong Won praised the prices and taste.

The KBBQ restaurant received criticism for its prize because Baek Jong Won believed the price was too hefty for college students and the owners acknowledged that they've seen and heard students getting surprised after finishing their food because the bill was a bit on the higher side. The taste of the meat was also criticized with Baek Jong Won saying the taste doesn't make up for the high price.

The KBBQ restaurant originally used to be at a regular neighborhood and moved into a college town but they're not making revenue. The owner cried revealing that they opened this store with the help of his mother who one day visited their original store and gave him all of her life-savings saying use this as an opportunity for a fresh start to open a new restaurant. He said that he just wants to give back to his mother and he's embarrassed of himself.

1. [+2739, -62] Putting everything aside, the KBBQ owner mindset and thoughts geared to his family needs to be acknowledged. I hope he accomplishes valuable results with the solution..!

2. [+2333, -52] Forreal, 'Alley Restaurant' is a show meant for these types of people and not people like the croquette store owner (t/n: The croquette store owner was a part of the 10th alley and the 10th alley received the most criticism from viewers because of the croquette store and pizza restaurant. The two owners of those businesses never showed any seriousness towards their businesses)

3. [+1437, -36] Although he's been hit by arrows, his dedication to do it is still strong.. I'm supporting you to see the day where you succeed through the solution and you can take care of your parents.

4. [+1003, -42] As sorry as you are to your parents, you can learn well this time and demonstrate it properly.. You can pay back all of the 50 million won, stay strong

5. [+701, -23] [In the preview] it shows Baek Jong Won and the cup in the rice restaurant lady fighting, as except, the villain is saved for last ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

1. [+807, -9] The owner of the pizza restaurant is living life the fullest and clean, restaurants like that need to do well ㅠㅠㅠㅠ The fact that the net profit is 300,000 won.. ㅠㅠ (t/n: 300,000 won is roughly $266)

2. [+410, -8] Baek Jong Won is amazing for figuring out that the yook gae jang (spicy beef soup) is ready-made food just by looking at it

3. [+348, -20] I hope the KBBQ restaurant does well, I think they did really well with their restaurant selection this time - usually when I watch, I turn it off in the middle and sleep but with this episode ㅠㅠ I watched until the end

4. [+276, -4] It's in a college town so the cost is important since students don't have a lot of money

5. [+228, -9] It's my first time feeling healed after watching 'Alley Restaurant', owner-nim hit daebak
