Back in 2010, there was an anonymous group online called TaJinYo, which stood for "We Demand the Truth from Tablo." This group alleged that Tablo was falsifying his academic credentials and thought it was impossible for the rapper to complete both his bachelor's degree and master's degree at the same time. Tablo released his official university transcripts that included the degree conferral information for both his bachelor's and master's degrees. The Registrar of Stanford even confirmed the information, but TaJinYo didn't accept it. They started spreading conspiracy theories that they could not trust the official transcripts, and alleged that the Daniel Lee in the academic records isn't the same person as Tablo. The online group then started making accusations towards Tablo's family as well.
In the end, Tablo was able to verify his credentials, and the Korean police confirmed this as well. He filed suit against 20 of the most active attackers, and their identities were also revealed.
In a recent video on Epik High's YouTube channel, the group was discussing the complexity of relationships (e.g., relationships between long-time friends, in-laws, family, etc), and Tablo shared that when the people involved in TaJinYo were exposed, some of those perpetrators were individuals that he thought were his friends. There were also celebrities who were involved, but Tablo never disclosed their names. He added that when he sees these people receiving love from the public, he gets frustrated, but if he were to expose these people, he gets frustrated because he feels that he would be the same as them.
