[I Live Alone Roundup] A look inside Chung Jae-ssi's daily life + Controversy regarding Park Narae's gift to Hong Hyun Hee

Nationwide ratings for this episode: 12.0% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+7998, -153] Let's seriously give Park Narae a daesang ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+6161, -134] People keep saying Hong Hyun Hee and Jason couple are an inconvenience this and that but they went to see their newlywed home, it wasn't a housewarming party and they must've asked them beforehand about helping out to create footage for the episode. Sigh.

3. [+2998, -65] Park Narae is seriously a good person

4. [+2885, -62] I wish I had a friend like Park Narae... ㅠㅜ I hope Park Narae continues to become successful!! It was nice to watch Chung Jae's part today because it was small and light ㅠ

5. [+1714, -21] Because Chung Jae-nim doesn't pretend to be cool, he's cooler - it was nice to watch because it was natural and I feel like 'I Live Alone' really won't work without Park Narae ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Upgraded Bardem

6. [+1444, -29] I felt like I was watching a music video while watching Kim Chung Jae's daily life... Not just his face but his personality/character and even his lifestyle, he's a cool person ㅜㅜ After always watching a celebrity's daily life, it was nice to watch an artist's daily life, it was different and healing

7. [+1245, -23] Today's episode was daebak. Touching, touching. Chung Jae-ssi's face isn't the only thing handsome, his heart and way of thinking is cooler and he's a sincere young man. Even if he doesn't have much, he works hard towards his dream and takes good care of his younger sibling and he's a kind and warm-hearted person. Since he's coming out on TV, he's giving young artists strength and I support him. It's quite hard for our country's youths to live on. Please come out more often from now on. The members of 'I Live Alone' are all so busy so they don't come out often so come out once in a while. Seeing those two brothers living to their fullest in life, their parents who are watching must be proud... I feel like they did well in raising their sons...

NOTE: Basically some people think the mini dryer gift Park Narae gave to Hong Hyun Hee was a PPL (product placement) and they were put off because according to them, the show is basically trying to show this PPL as if it's not a PPL - like naturally show it(???).

1. [+9822, -339] Who cares if it's a PPL, is there a variety show or drama that doesn't have PPL??

2. [+9160, -292] If Park Narae bought a gift with her own money, she looks like someone who would find a big dryer and washing machine insufficient - what's the big fuss over the PPL? On 'Running Man', the hoodie, padding, and shoes they where everyday isn't advertisement/PPL but you don't like it because the present Park Narae gifted is an advertisement/PPL? This is really ridiculous ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+4451, -155] Idiots. The purpose of this article is also PPL. They pretend like it's a controversy and they didn't hide the brand either and uploaded three pictures of the merchandise ㅋㅋㅋ The people bickering in this article: dogs and pigs who are easily stirred up

4. [+3574, -152] Don't mind it.. People seriously argue over the anything ㅉㅉ (t/n: ㅉㅉ is the sound of *tsk tsk*)

5. [+2476, -93] Revealing the brand on a variety show, the PPL costs at least 30 million won. It's a good method for a business to market their product. There isn't a movie, drama, variety show, you all watch that doesn't include PPL.

6. [+418, -20] After 'Infinite Challenge' disappeared, it seems like the kids who couldn't behave like mother-in-laws all went over to 'I Live Alone'...

[I Live Alone Roundup] Kian84 spends the day getting a physical examination with Chung Jae-ssi

Nationwide ratings for this week's episode: 10.7% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+1595, -28] Kian is such a good son!! I cried with him while watching. ㅠ Be strong!~

2. [+1299, -12] When Kian cried while looking for his mom, I feel like Park Narae also got emotional, her eyes were moist ㅠ I feel like because both Kian and Park Narae's fathers passed away, they worry and think about their mothers a lot who are living alone

3. [+921, -21] I endure a week to watch 'I Live Alone'!! I thought they planned the physical examination for Kian today to be funny but the moving scene at the end.. I cried with him ㅠㅠ And also, is Chung Jae-ssi coming out in next week's Rainbow Live real????

4. [+872, -49] Chung Jae-ssi seems like quite a nice person
↪ [+179, -7] And he's so handsome
↪ [+173, -0] I agree, even while he was receiving the conscious sedation endoscopy, he was weeeeeell-behaved, his usual personality is showing
↪ [+142, -0] Doesn't even smoke or drink, he's just perfect

5. [+563, -13] While watching, I unknowingly cried too ㅠㅠ I feel like when his mom watches the episode, she's going to choke up

1. [+915, -10] Ah seriously I laughed and cried, yesterday's episode was really funny and moving

2. [+865, -51] I really like Kian... Although his psyche seems a bit unstable, he seems like a really pure and genuine person

3. [+450, -11] I also cried while watching that scene ~~~ㅠㅠ I was thinking that it would be something really funny but.. the twist... ㅎㅎ Take care of your health ^^

4. [+359, -15] Kian is a good son, I really like Kian and the 'I Live Alone' members - all of you don't get stressed and be filled with happy things

5. [+241, -9] I cried with him.. ㅠㅠ

This is the scene that made everyone tear up ㅠㅠ
He was saying how he missed his mom and also missed his dad
And Chung Jae asked him if he wanted him to call his mom for him and he did and during his phone call with his mom, he kept saying: "Mom... don't be sick..." and "Mom, you have to live for a long, long time" ㅠㅠ
My heart... ㅠㅠ
But the scene where the medical staff came and told Kian that he was going to take out the needle in his arm and that it's going to sting a lot
And Kian started making a face, acting like it was stinging so much and the medical staff said, "I didn't take it out yet..."

[from ddoboja - 9月] ddoboja Goes to Korea! 🇰🇷

Helloooo readers! :・゚
It feels like it's been a really long time since I've done a [from ddoboja] post ㅠㅠ
But for those of y'all who are new to this blog...
Every month I try to upload a [from ddoboja] post where I post things like what I watched, listened to, and did throughout the month.
So let's get started with my September recap!
For those of y'all who didn't know, I went to Korea for a few days during the month of September! :・゚
These are a few of my favorite pictures from my time in Korea~
I hope you enjoy my brief(?) LOL recap! :・゚

On our first day in Korea, my family and I went to Jeju Island for 1 night and 2 days!

This was the sunrise at Gimpo Airport at around 5:45 AM
Look at how beautiful the flag looks with the clouds ㅠㅠ

The flight to Jeju Island experienced a lot of turbulence so it wasn't fun but the clouds looked so pretty ㅠㅠ

Our first meal on the island was 해물라면 (haemool ramyeon, seafood ramyeon) and it was sooooo yummy!!
As you can see, the ramen came with so much seafood (which tasted super fresh) and the noodles were cooked perfectly (I'm really picky about my noodle's texture LOL)
I want to eat it again ㅠㅠ

After our meal we went to the OSULLOC Tea Museum~
If you're a fan of 'I Live Alone' then you might recognize this place! The members visited this green tea field during their 200th episode special!

When you head inside the museum, they have an exhibition and shop area.
In the shop area, they sell tea and they have a cafe.
My family got a couple of green tea drinks and cake rolls and I decided on getting the green tea ice cream!
I looooooveeeee anything that is green tea/matcha-flavored
This was by far my favorite green tea ice cream that I have ever tried because the ice cream tasted entirely like green tea and not creamy which I reaaaally appreciated~
I don't know why but I hate when ice cream tastes super milky/creamy and lacks of the actual flavor that you picked. Like what's the point of eating vanilla ice cream if it only tastes like milk and there's only a hint of vanilla?

Before we headed back to Incheon, our last meal on the island was Japanese food from a restaurant called Nozomi.

The owner was so sweet and she was really interested in my accent and when we told her we came from the U.S., she shared with us that she also used to live in the U.S. for a while but ended up moving back to Korea!

Charcoal-grilled unagi~~~

Admiral Yi Sun Shin

King Sejong the Great

If you go further down the street then there's the Gyeongbokgung!

Oh my... it's me! LOL
Hehehe first time revealing myself on my blog~
This is a bit nerve-wracking and embarrassing LOL

After we toured the palace, we started walking towards an area called Samcheongdong and we went to chill at a cafe~
The cafe we went to is called Cafe Breezin
My cousins and I ordered dessert and drinks - I got the mint mojito (the drink in the middle) and to be honest, the food and drinks weren't very tasty LOL
The drinks were super syrupy and the waffle was just basically super hard to eat and tasted like a frozen one you could buy at a marketplace...
It was really mediocre...

I fell in love with the cafe's aesthetics ㅠㅠ
This is the sign you're greeted with when you enter the cafe

*Maya Angelou LOL

The view from where we were sitting ♡
I swear... Korea is so green!
I love it so much ㅠㅠ ♡

One of my cousins wanted to spend time with me before my last day so she took me to her favorite shopping mall so we can walk around, shop, and chat

The mall had a special event going on where they had a little craft fair and wow....
People are so talented! They crated hair accessories, jewelry, wallets, and more!
Right next to this little fair, two guys were busking by the red trees and I seriously got chills when we stepped out into this area... ㅠㅠ

The guys who were busking were singing 'Compass' by Lee Juck which is one of my favorite song of all time ㅠㅠ
The fact that they were performing my favorite song live during my first trip in Korea while I was surrounded by the people I love and the things I like was just really amazing ㅠㅠ
The mood was just perfect...

I mostly spent time on this trip with my family and relatives because I haven't seen many of my relatives and cousins in around 20 years ㅠㅠ
On my last day, I spent the whole day with my grandparents and it was one of the most precious days in my life ㅠㅠ
I think I cherish my time with them even more now because of the fact that they're a lot older now so I honestly don't know how much time I have left with them...

For those who don't know, one of my inspirations for starting this blog was my grandfather.
Every time we would end our monthly phone calls, we would always tell me not to forget how to speak Korean and not to forget the fact that I'm Korean even though my nationality is American.
The fact that I was able to communicate perfectly with my grandparents, uncles and aunts, and cousins is something I'm really grateful for because I feel like if I wasn't able to speak the amount of Korean I'm able to speak right now, then the trip probably wouldn't have been as enjoyable as it was.

Till next time, Korea.
You were an absolute delight.
From the weather, the people, the food, and the sunrises and sunsets.
I can't wait to come back  :・゚

Hehe that's all folks!
I hope you all had an amazing month and if it wasn't that great, keep your head up and try to stay positive - everything will work out.
And to my Indonesian readers, I hope you're all safe.
Once again
Thank you always for reading my blog and for writing me supportive comments
They really mean a lot
Well then... this is the end for today!
우리 또 보자~
(t/n: let's meet again~; uri ddoboja~)

3. [+540, -17] I quite like Lee Si Eon because he seems like a guy who's pretentious, he doesn't care a lot about what others think, and he seems like he lives the way he wants to live~~~ He's knows his path~ I feel like he'll go well (on his path)~ I'm supporting you~~~~

4. [+378, -6] When Shin Don came out, I blew up laughing (t/n: They're talking about the editing and how they used a scene from the drama 'Shin Don')

3. [+374, -16] Lee Si Eon was funny ㅋㅋ He can read the comments (t/n: During the episode, Lee Si Eon kind of thought his part was boring because he wasn't doing anything and Jun Hyun Moo said to not look at the comments LOL)
