[SPOILERS!!!][The World of the Married Special Episode Roundup] The cast reveals their least and most favorite scenes and behind-the-scene stories from filming

Original Source (My Daily via Nate): 'The World of the Married Special' Han So Hee, "When Kim Hee Ae revealed the affair, I thought I was going to throw up while acting"

t/n: Han So Hee was asked what kind of character she thought Yeo Da Kyung was and she said, "She seemed like a character that lived while being pushed by her parents' wealth and authority. So, to be honest, if you take a look at Da Kyung, she's a character that's hanged up on love and emotions rather than her work and her future life."

Regarding the dining room scene, Han So Hee said, "From the morning of that day of filming, I felt like I was going to throw up. When I arrived, I couldn't even picture how to do this. When we were rehearsing the scene, my hand was trembling and you know how we all sat together at the dining table, I could only see Hee Ae sunbae and kept thinking, 'What should I do, what should I do...."'

P.S. there's a few trolls in the dungeon after the top 3 comments but I guess that's what we get with Nate articles 🀷🏻‍♀️

1. [+2023 / -25] Now that 'The World of the Married' has ended, it feels like there's no dramas to watch during the weekends. I hope another drama comes out that makes us wait for the weekend. Kim Hee Ae's acting was really awesome

2. [+1937 / -30] Wow... the day I saw this scene, I thought I was watching the last episode. It's really a scene I watched while covering my mouth γ„·γ„·γ„·

3. [+1291 / -31] Kim Hee Ae's ocean scene where the other outstanding actors said that the scene gave them goosebumps... She's really an amazing actress!!!!!

4. [+70 / -80] Just like how Yeo Da Kyung, herself, said that she couldn't stay focused [with acting] in the interview - Yeo Da Kyung's acting kept staying the same and there was no change in her crying acting. Even in Kim Hee Ae's interview, she complimented Lee Hak Joo and Jeon Jin Seo but she didn't mention Yeo Da Kyung at all and didn't compliment her... (t/n: I found this comment really funny cause this commenter refers to all the other actors with their real name but refers to Han So Hee as 'Yeo Da Kyung'. πŸ‘πŸ» A drama πŸ‘πŸ» is just a drama πŸ‘πŸ» don't πŸ‘πŸ» misunderstand πŸ‘πŸ»)

5. [+62 / -64] Yeo Da Kyung didn't act well.... Her acting is a different acting range from Kim Hee Ae's - seeing how she couldn't stay focused, I think what I sensed was correct

6. [+60 / -0] When Ji Sun Woo got hit in the head, I remember thinking.... it must be an imagination...

7. [+51 / -9] Han So Hee is pretty

8. [+47 / -2] Does it make sense that there wasn't an interview with Joon Young... To be honest, he had the most screen time after Sun Woo and Tae Oh and he was really good at acting...

Original Source (News1 via Nate): 'The World of the Married Special' Kim Hee Ae confesses, "Rather than my husband's betray, I was more shocked by the friends'"

1. [+1221 / -8] I really related to what she said. I developed depression because the hurt I received from our mutual friends was bigger than the breakup. I barely recovered but I don't view them as people γ…Žγ…Ž if you nitpick the advantage of the relationships, those of you who behaved like bats will one day crumble like a sand castle.

2. [+1196 / -7] Throughout 'The World of the Married', that scene was the most shocking. Her friends secretly went on a trip to Jeju Island with Lee Tae Oh and Yeo Da Kyung... It was seriously a big shock but fun to watch

3. [+953 / -20] Yeo Da Kyung should've completely flopped too....

4. [+55 / -4] Seriously, unknown actors played a big, active role in this drama. Even Kim Hee Ae said that she was so surprised after seeing Lee Hak Joo's acting~~ They all deserve praise. Da Kyung was so pretty in the special episode.

Original Source (News1 via Nate): 'The World of the Married Special' Kim Young Min, "I was shocked when he said, "If you're bored, raise a dog""...Park Sun Young, "Even when I think about it now, I get mad"

1. [+995 / -10] After someone said that Ye Rim looks like zzangjeolmi, every time I see her - the image of zzanjeolmi and gaejook overlaps so it's hella cute... she has the typical face of a dog's gentleness  (t/n: this is zzangjeolmi hehehe and here's the comparison of zzangjeolmi and Park Sun Young hahaha)

2. [+781 / -5] His gentle impression seems nice so it's interesting γ…Žγ…Ž Son Jae Hyuk was sharp and cold γ…‹

3. [+503 / -5] I'm looking forward to the drama that's airing next week~

4. [+40 / -1] Kim Young Min-nim came out as an adulterous man in a drama twice but I feel like in real life he would have a lot of aegyo and puppy charm. Later on, when he and Go Ye Rim were getting along, I felt this a lot

5. [+35 / -0] Park Sun Young acted well but her character was also good. Usually, in situations like this, the woman only gets hurt and comes out soft but her behavior, words, and eye gaze that had determination was good. When everyone else was having a game of power, she wasn't swayed and she wasn't walking on eggshells either. She also said what she had to say and did things with determination.

6. [+34 / -1] That ahjusshi is over 50 years old

Original Source (Star Today via Nate): 'The World of the Married' The legendary scene that Lee Moo Saeng x Han So Hee x Kim Young Min highly praised....'Kim Hee Ae's ocean scene'

1. [+701 / -4] 'A laughter that brushes past freedom and sadness.' - I really feel like this expression is perfect.

2. [+538 / -5] In episode 6 where Han So Hee says, "You crazy b*tch", Ji Sun Woo and Lee Tae Oh's kiss scene in episode 12, and the scene where she attempts sui*cide in the waves - it was really chilling γ…œγ…œ

3. [+493 / -3] That's right... that laughter... it was amazing..

4. [+59 / -1] After I watched this scene, it lingered in my head for a week~ I was really surprised because she expressed Sun Woo's feelings ardently without lines but with her body and expression~ It made me think, 'Ah so this is why people say Kim Hee Ae is good at acting'~ When I still think about this scene, I'm stunned γ…œ.γ…œ

[SPOILERS!!!][The World of the Married Naver TV Comments] Episode 16 (finale)

Episode 16

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Actually, I'm not okay...My heart feels like it's in hell

Nationwide ratings for episode 16 that aired on May 16, 2020: 28.4% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+3076 / -6] Forreal, that's reality

2. [+1730 / -5] This is why getting back together is hard because you'll always live in uneasiness and doubt

3. [+1645 / -5] I'm really sad that there are people who are actually like that in real life

4. [+1644 / -10] Viewers: "My heart feels like it's in hell for watching this"

5. [+1482 / -12] Then please break up, both couples weren't able to break up properly and it's a fuss

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Park Hae Joon, who took Jeon Ji Seo, "I did it because I wanted to be with him..."

1. [+2239 / -3] I was hella scared because I thought he was going to commit a double sui*cide with Joon Young

2. [+1593 / -5] You should go see Jennie, why are you seeing Joon Young... BS

3. [+1502 / -5] Dad, why aren't you looking for me...
↪ [+322 / -1] Jennie spoke baby talk for a month and then suddenly began to talk

4. [+1174 / -3] But in real life, if they're that obsessed then they should go to the hospital and receive treatment

5. [+1004 / -2] I thought Lee Tae Oh was going to kill Joon Young... Scared...

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Park Hae Joon meets Kim Hee Ae-Jeon Jin Seo, "We can become one family again"

1. [+4391 / -6] I saw a real look for scorn in Joon Young

2. [+3985 / -3] I'll forgive you for everything so forgive me too γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ This is funnier than Comedy Big League

3. [+3479 / -7] Wow but seriously he's hella good at acting like a loser

4. [+2274 / -6] Seriously, Joon Young... Is it possible for him to live a normal life? γ…œγ…œγ…œ

5. [+1738 / -4] He can just be like "mooooooo" but why is he saying bullshit so diligently

6. [+1668 / -3] He said he'll understand her mistakes γ…‹γ…‹πŒ…π¨›ο½¦πŒ…π¨›ο½¦πŒ…π¨›ο½¦πŒ…π¨›ο½¦πŒ…π¨›ο½¦ You're the only one who did something wrong, what did Ji Sun Woo do wrong - she's the victim...

Original Source (JTBC via Naver): The two witness the moment where...a car drives towards Park Hae Joon

1. [+6520 / -19] In the end, the lesson from this drama is that the biggest victim of a family trouble is the child
↪ [+325 / -2] This isn't 'The World of the Married' but Joon Young's drama about growth.
↪ [+347 / -2] Is Yeo Da Kyung not going to get punished..? It's gross

2. [+4576 / -21] The biggest victim until the end: Lee Joon Young

3. [+4521 / -15] He's properly giving his son a sui*cide trauma - he seriously has no right of being a father or a husband until the end

4. [+3076 / -28] Joon Young's feeling when he ran away after seeing them hug is my feeling as a viewer...

5. [+2370 / -26] Ultimately, it's the story of Ji Sun Woo's life who got messed up cause of Lee Tae Oh. Ugh Tae Oh is disgraceful until the end

6. [+2319 / -68] What exactly is this? What did I watch?

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Working on not regretting my choices. Because ultimately, living is something you decide on

1. [+3365 / -6] Wow, so in the end they broke up;;
↪ [+371 / -2] As expected, trash doesn't change γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹,,
↪ [+163 / -1] I hate people like the wiretapper the most

2. [+3154 / -83] No but α”•Iα—·α—©α’ͺ (t/n: f*ck), Yeo Da Kyung's going to end like this? A adulterous woman who fell for a delusion was rationalized into a victim. It's not cider but it feels like I ate roasted goguma (sweet potato) and drank low-fat milk
↪ [+298 / -1] At least roasted goguma and low-fat milk is yummy - it feels like I stuffed my mouth with chestnut sweet potato and chewing on hard boiled eggs...

3. [+2810 / -11] *sigh* I'm even more annoyed cause it's the most realistic...

4. [+2518 / -17] The fact that the wiretapper is dating a new woman after one year means that he didn't straighten out his side relationships

5. [+2412 / -6] Jae Hyuk already set up a new home

6. [+2044 / -4] She's an adulterous woman, will you be okay?

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): [Ending] If you endure every day, you never know that they might come find you like a savior....

1. [+9546 / -69] It's realistic... Yeo Da Kyung, who's the daughter of a rich family, gets to study what she wants to do while the son who's tired of his mom and dad's relationship runs away... This is reality... There's no such thing as cider, real life is like this
↪ [+635 / -8] Seriously - this is what I want to say but other people are saying weird things γ… γ…  Are they hoping for some ideal ending that rewards the good and punishes the bad?

2. [+7318 / -47] Go Ye Rim and Son Jae Hyuk was so realistic that the directing was almost scary.. they never change. Them living well with each other again felt fake and was almost unnatural but they wrapped it up well. Son Jae Hyuk can never fix that

3. [+6559 / -148] While watching the ending, I feel that 'The World of the Married' properly showed the true side of divorce. You wonder when they loved each other when they dragged each other down but at the end of a marriage, that's the side of the married couple. The worries and wandering of the children that witness that... The fixation of the people looking at them.. I feel that with 'The World of the Married', the message they were giving us is that a stranger can't carelessly define it and until the two people can create one life together through hard work and time, they have to remember each other's sacrifices and can't forget about their first feelings. In that world, the warm sun shines but there's also heavy storms where you won't be able to see forward so you get lost from your path and can also drift apart. I feel like they're telling us that nonetheless, you should remember the first time you held each other's hand and create a firmer world. The lingering is quite deep at the end. To the production team and the actors, thank you!

4. [+5711 / -202] Is this a drama that's encouraging people to remain unmarried..?

5. [+5591 / -108] I really enjoyed the ending. Did you want the adulterous man and woman to get what they deserve and have their entire family flop and turn homeless? Was Lee Tae Oh supposed to commit sui*cide? With the adulterous woman, she lost the family that she wanted to protect and she needs to raise her kid alone for the rest of her life. Ultimately, this drama showed us that having an affair completely ruined a family and the child is the one who's in the most pain because of their parents' divorce... I feel like they showed it to us really realistically

honestly, i agree with the comments...
although it's annoying that Yeo Da Kyung didn't receive the punishment that viewers were hoping for - the ending was still realistic...
she was a young adult from a rich family who met a wrong man and thought that she can change him
but after learning the truth about him, she had the resources to get out of that situation

the biggest victim in this whole drama is Joon Young γ… .γ…
he was so traumatized by the messiness from his parents' divorce and their relationship after that
I can't believe Tae Oh tried to commit suicide in front of him...
Lee Tae Oh is seriously selfish until the very end

y'all know that i really didn't like the ending of the original British drama because it felt like an after school special but with the Korean remake, I actually liked that the open ending kinda ended on a good note because it showed a silhouette that's similar to Joon Young
γ… .γ…

Let Joon Young and Sun Woo be happy γ… γ… γ… γ… γ… γ…
thank you to all the staff, production team crew, and the actors for working hard with completing this drama during the middle of a global pandemic γ… .γ…

okieee i'm going to go to sleep now~
have a great night y'all!
and thank you for completing this drama with me
also doesn't this gif of Boo remind y'all of Jo Jung Suk???
i think i'm watching too much 'Hospital Playlist' LOLOL

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Park Hae Joon 'reunites' with Kim Hee Ae, "You look good. You're as cool as ever..."

Nationwide ratings for episode 7 that aired on April 17, 2020: 18.5% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+2949 / -9] I feel like if you hit Lee Tae Oh on the head, I think the only sound that will come out will be clang clang γ…

2. [+2427 / -2] It's my first time seeing the perpetrator taking revenge. He's the perpetrator but he doesn't think of himself as the perp. He's a one of a kind bastard.

3. [+1747 / -17] Sun Woo is still as cool as ever but what is that shameless person saying;;

↪ [+111 / -1] "You look good, I knew you would be as cool as ever..." He's saying that Sun Woo is as cool as ever. The only thing that's stuck onto Dog-Tae Oh is his eyeballs...

4. [+1595 / -7] Ji Sun Woo is the only one who's already dead γ…  Whether it's her heart or her body γ…  Even her son is out of his mind

5. [+1404 / -3] Isn't it crazy to wonder about how she's doing? Seriously, his brain is filled with udon noodles

6. [+1265 / -9] Although time has passed, Lee Tae Oh is still spewing out bullshit γ…‹γ…‹

1. [+4524 / -8] That son, seriously, I'm getting all hurt; he'll come to his senses after he gets mistreated at Da Kyung's house

2. [+4026 / -6] Okay, just live at that home and live well while being mistreated

3. [+3939 / -7] *Sigh* If it was Ye Seo instead of that son....

↪ [+821 / -2] If it was Ye Seo, it would've been game over in elementary school
↪ [+628 / -1] If it was Ye Seo γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ I bet it would've been hella fun
↪ [+1631 / -0] "Dad, are you crazy? You're telling me that there's the blood of an adulterous man flowing in my blood!!!!"

4. [+3007 / -8] Son, why would you go there. I don't understand you the most.

5. [+2802 / -7] My mom's wise saying: "The woman who marries the man she stole from another woman, can only live in uneasiness for the rest of their life.."

1. [+6994 / -17] The fact that he really didn't get over her is a huge twist, I hella got chills
↪ [+584 / -1] Seriously, hella goosebumps γ…‡γ…‡;;;;;
↪ [+659 / -2] Why did he cheat on her? I seriously don't understand Lee Tae Oh;;
↪ [+879 / -1] Sun Woo's makeup products, clothes, and even the placement is the same. Wow, chills....

2. [+6210 / -26] Ji Sun Woo's preference in perfumes, clothes style, makeup, etc. - he changed Yeo Da Kyung and the changes refers to Ji Sun Woo, chilling. He's a pervert bastard

3. [+4600 / -25] Ji Sun Woo's taste in clothes, art, makeup, and even photos.. He didn't get over her

4. [+4152 / -19] It was really chilling how the family portrait he took with Sun Woo is the same as the family portrait he took with Da Kyung, only the kid and wife is different and the bastard Tae Oh is the only one that's the same γ„·γ„·

5. [+3686 / -20] Seriously, he 100% didn't get over Sun Woo. So that's why he thew a party for her to see and said things that he didn't believe in

6. [+3491 / -12] At this point, Tae Oh is a pervert bastard

Episode 8

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Park Sun Young questions the sudden terror attacks that have started against Kim Hee Ae

Nationwide ratings for episode 8 that aired on April 18, 2020: 20.1% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+3771 / -27] He saw his dad physically assaulting his mom but instead of protecting his mom, he goes to the house where the adulteress is at to go eat dinner - he's a sociopath. Most kids mature early on
↪ [+643 / -3] If I saw my mom bleading all over the place, I think I would throw up just by seeing my dad's face. How can you eat in front of the thug who beat up your mom? Of course the kid will need his father's love but that man really isn't human

2. [+2126 / -11] I'm seriously about to dislike Seol Myung Sook (Chae Gook Hee's character) as much as Tae Oh

3. [+1513 / -13] I don't think she'll be on Sun Woo's side... No matter how bad her relationship is with Da Kyung, do you think she'll help the woman who slept with her husband?

4. [+1335 / -24] Go Ye Rim (Park Sun Young's character), if you're not going to help her, don't even show interest... You said it was burdening but why would you even go to the Gosan Women's Association from the get-go γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ Go Ye Rim is also a joke

5. [+1019 / -4] I 100% bet that this is planned by Lee Tae Oh

1. [+4069 / -20] Exactly who's side is Go Ye Rim on?? I really don't like Seol Myung Sook, she's annoying

2. [+4018 / -39] I feel like Go Ye Rim is really behaving in a way where she doesn't care about the sides. She attacks Ji Sun Woo, she attacks Yeo Da Kyung, and she takes a step back so that she doesn't get involved in any of the situations. She might be a bit of a selfish character who has an eye on her husband who's not on anyone's side, her family, and herself.

3. [+3904 / -11] "My husband" γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ hella disgusting

4. [+3474 / -21] But still if someone is like Go Ye Rim in that world, isn't that normal?

5. [+3363 / -12] The mom messed up Da Kyung. She should've guided her child onto the right path. Her daughter is like that because she lets her kid do whatever she wants to. She pretends to be sophisticated and looks down on others

6. [+2605 / -10] She's saying that she doesn't like both Yeo Da Kyung and Lee Tae Oh. But Seol Myung Sook, there's seriously always one person that's like her around you. She's hella annoying γ…œγ…œ Let's throw a punch at her

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Seo Yi Sook's warning towards Kim Hee Ae, "Be careful, they're not easy people to deal with"

1. [+4965 / -8] God Mago, help Sun Woo

2. [+4239 / -7] That's right, at least one person should be normal

3. [+3171 / -18] At times like this, her son should be on her side but her son and her husband are all the same. Ji Sun Woo, hwaiting

4. [+2800 / -4] I feel like this person is a bit on Ji Sun Woo's side, help her

5. [+2397 / -2] Madame, niceee~~ I feel like that madame is going to do something big later on

Original Source (JTBC via Naver TV): Kim Hee Ae's warning towards Han So Hee, "You should be careful too"

1. [+7270 / -21] Everyone, did you know this? Even the wine γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ It's the one that Ji Sun Woo drinks γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ The one that he gave out as a gift;;;; Seriously, at this point, Lee Tae Oh's role model: Ji Sun Woo
↪ [+787 / -2] Daebak....... No wonder they showed it to us in such detail γ„·γ„·

2. [+4708 / -15] In the character introduction, they wrote that Yeo Da Kyung gets into the same position as Ji Sun Woo... Please, we're hoping for cider (t/n: cider is refreshing plot development)

3. [+4256 / -17] I'm certain Lee Tae Oh is a pervert

4. [+3384 / -13] A person who betrayed once, can betray once more. Now the only thing remaining is for Han So Hee to be betrayed in the same way and cry..

5. [+3071 / -8] Writer-nim, just give us cider from now on, please...
