NOTE: Actor Bae Jung Nam grew up in a really difficult environment. He basically raised himself at a young age  by working part-time jobs. In last week's episode, he revealed that the reason he took the college entrance exam is because during those times, if you were absent with no excuse then you lose your daily wage twice but if you're absent because of having to take the college entrance exam, then you have a reason to be absent because it's a nationwide event so that's why he took the college entrance exams so that he can take a break (from working). 

He knew he couldn't go to college because no one can provide for him (the tuition) and he would outwardly just say that he's not going but inside he really wanted to go to college. Although he knew he wouldn't get into colleges, he still applied and he said he was jealous of all his friends getting in because while they were going to college, he was going to be jobless. After being rejected from all the colleges he applied to, he received a call 4-5 days after from a college saying if you pay tuition within 2 hours, you can come. He really wanted to go and thought this was an opportunity so he contacted some of his relatives whom he hasn't spoken to in years saying, "Please lend me some money. I want to go to college but I'm a bit short on money. I'll pay you back through working part-time jobs" and they all turned their backs on him. He was really jealous that other kids, they don't even want to attend college but their parents force them but he couldn't even go even though he really wanted to. He was just going to give up because he thought he wouldn't be able to pay for it but his friend (the friend that came out) helped him pay for his tuition and they attended the same college. But the problem didn't end there - he didn't realize so much money went into buying textbooks because in high school, they just provide the books for you. So he went to the school and asked for a refund because he couldn't afford to attend college but they said that they can give a refund of half the tuition after a month so he attended college for a month and after he received half the refund, he gave it to his friend who lent him the money. 

He then talked about the grandmother who owned the boarding house he used to live in when he was in elementary school - she used to feed him, would attend his sports day festivals at school, and attended his elementary school graduation. So he wanted to go and see her after 20 years and thank her. He went to her old house and learned that she's living in a nursing facility but he got to reunite with the other grandmas he knew when he was younger. He was able to get the address of the nursing facility from the grandma's relative and was finally able to see reunite with her after 20 years. While Bae Jung Nam had a lonely childhood, she was basically his only family.

Comedian Kim Jun Ho files for divorce after 11 years of marriage

1. [+14704, -340] I don't blame him for divorcing... He was basically a goose father (t/n: goose fathers are basically men who stay behind to work in Korea in order to pay for their families to live and study abroad). His wife always went abroad, do you think any affection would've blossomed
