[I Live Alone Episode 347 Roundup] Park Narae decorates her new home, Kian84 shows his after-work life + viewers wonder where Lee Si Eon is

Episode 347

Nationwide ratings for episode 347 that aired on May 29, 2020: 11.3% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+323 / -15] Wow... it [the house] got bigger, her previous house was nice but this place is nice too

2. [+263 / -27] I can see her sense. If you look at her interior design, there's really nothing this unni can't do

3. [+227 / -15] It's really so-so when someone talks about something they like, whether it's small or big, and the people around them laughs

4. [+175 / -13] The animal wallpaper that no one chose was at first, a bit surprising but if she doesn't touch the other interior and leaves the wall white, I think it's alright to use a bold wallpaper like that as a point and that area is perfect for Narae Bar

5. [+160 / -16] The new house is alright and it's nice that it's big

6. [+118 / -3] I wonder how much the rent is for a place like that...?
↪ [+34 / -3] I heard it's nine million won... *sigh* (t/n: nine million won is around $7,300 usd)

Original Source (MBC via Naver TV): Park Narae's crisis...?! Bali turtle(?)'s wise time

1. [+1061 / -89] Nosy people, seriously... Can she not use the money she earned in the way she wants to? I understand that life is hard and everything in the world looks skewed but it's not like Park Narae is doing something bad with undeserved money. I don't get why she's getting shitted on

2. [+705 / -66] Narae is doing the things she wants to with the money she earned - there's a lot of people who have an inferiority complex

3. [+580 / -114] I rather liked Kian84 and found him relatable... I don't know if this is uncomfortable to watch but this is the real 'I Live Alone'. This was a lot relatable that those celebrities who are scripted
↪ [+60 / -4] If there are people who live like Kian then there are also people who live like Narae ㅎ The way people live is all different~

4. [+558 / -35] There are people like Park Narae who find it healing by using the money they earned on themselves... and there are people who live like Kian... why are you comparing again... and why are you trying to relate to a celebrity's life from the get-go ㅋㅋ If you can't relate to it then don't relate to it ㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+392 / -27] Narae, let's buy a house now

1. [+946 / -67] If Kian does something rude then they (fans) supported him by saying it's unique and what not but seeing them rush over to shit on Son Dam Bi is really funny and ridiculous

2. [+888 / -72] Up until now, hasn't it been a couple a times where Son Dam Bi just laughed it off if Kian made a comment that was or said something that was a bit rude? This time again, Kian84, alone, said something that was irrelevant so that's why she said something like that. If he did something rude or said something out of focus only once or twice then I would say that Son Dam Bi's comment was rude but even after working in the broadcast industry for a couple of years, it's not only one or twice where he's always done this. Don't you think those types of comments are coming out because he's not fixing it.

3. [+851 / -55] They're coddling that behavior by calling it 'manly man', life must be really comfortable to live

4. [+788 / -55] It's not like Son Dam Bi worked in the entertainment industry for a day or two, if she said something like that in front of the cameras ㅋㅋㅋ... I 100% understand why Son Dam Bi said something like that

5. [+714 / -40] The vibes from before felt like it was a vibe where they were saying it must've been exhausted/hard but he suddenly asked how she was doing, even I would've found that weird and think that he's oblivious. Seeing how she said, "I get chills whenever he's like this" means that it's not just once or twice where he said something clueless and with no context like that ㅋㅋㅋ Stop coddling Kian now, he's mistaking himself as a good person

Original Source (MBC via Naver TV): Kian's human documentary...♪ A life where we remains alone after everyone left

1. [+1928 / -38] I think Kian's appearance really fits the show's purpose - he's honestly 'I' live alone. He doesn't need to walk on eggshells but his ordinary daily life represents this generation's one-person household that doesn't receive attention from others

2. [+1683 / -144] Everyone else, excluding Kian84, doesn't fit the show's purpose. Just by looking at Park Narae's move, who lives like that? People are saying that it's a life that succeeded but the people in South Korea who hella ordinarily live alone and are in their mid-30s to 40s, almost all relate to Kian's life. From some point, guests come out on the show and after the fixed cast members became popular, it felts like they're bragging and showing us things like: "I live this well off", "I eat these types of good food", "I'm this fancy", and "I go to good places like this" instead of showing how they live alone. I really hope that they find the original purpose of the show 'I Live Alone', I support Kian's life.
↪ [+172 / -32] It's just Park Narae's life but why are you guys so uncomfortable? Park Narae is living her way and they're showing the way Kian is living in his own way but is there something to be uncomfortable about? People can live fancy too
↪ [+137 / -2] Kian has a lot of money but he's just not decorating ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ You can relate to that and be emotionally immersed. The BGM is sad too ㅋㅋㅋㅋ But Kian has a lot of money ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ he's just not using it ㅋㅋㅋㅋ He's different from us ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+1519 / -16] I feel bad for him but... There are times where I'm like that too so I related to it and was more emotionally immersed. Doesn't everyone live while experiencing that emptiness???

4. [+1357 / -37] This was a lot more realistic than them always showing themselves being fancy and being free to invite their friends over for a party and decorating their homes. Throughout all the members, I feel like he's the most suitable for the show

5. [+1154 / -26] I just cried... while watching. He just sat on the floor alone while drinking soju and not saying anything... I felt really bad but from next time, please set a table and eat comfortably ㅠㅠ it's sad

Original Source (X Sports News via Nate): 'I Live Alone' Kian84, "Less employees...No one contacts me" Expresses his predicament

1. [+3300 / -182] Kian's episodes are comfortable because nothing in particular happens... Especially today's episode ㅜㅜ Relatable

2. [+3218 / -99] Real 'I Live Alone'

3. [+3014 / -216] I feel bad for him because the money he has is in its billions but the way he lives like a person who doesn't earn that much during the month

4. [+649 / -134] Ah seriously Son Dam Bi is terrible. Is she allowed to straight up act rude like that? She's making a face towards Kian and she looked down on him while saying, "Whenever he's like that, I get chills" - even the people watching felt uncomfortable. Kian also looked like he was upset cause he kept looking embarrassed and he's a saint. The thing that's really messed up is that Son Dam Bi is quite looking down on a person in front of them but it's an awkward situation for the other person to get mad and if they bring it up then they'll (Son Dam Bi) say that it was joke and ask why you're overreacting - she's the type of person who makes people feel petty. In the midst of all this, she wants to look good in front of Sung Hoon so she does quite a bit of skinship and her nerves are on the edge cause she's trying to pretend to be pretty. I miss Lee Si Eon, I think the panel combination is the worst (t/n: they're reaching, your honor)

5. [+551 / -15] The reason people leave [the company]: the pay is little, the boss is so-so, the company has no vision, or there's nothing to learn

Original Source (Top Star News via Nate): 'I Live Alone', Lee Si Eon absent from the studio for the second week straight...'Even speculation about quitting the show'

1. [+2260 / -90] Si Eon got an ear surgery, he didn't quit the show!

2. [+1431 / -139] Even Kian didn't look like he was in a good condition today... You can see that the other members on the panel were trying to comfort him

3. [+1147 / -68] I hope he quickly has a full recovery and comes back..

4. [+327 / -20] Son Dam Bi's brain structure is interesting. The thought to say it's chilling that Kian asked how someone was doing... Gosh, how do you have to think to have thoughts like that? To someone who's asking how you're doing

5. [+315 / -29] From what I saw, the people who took the most care of Kian in the studio was Jun Hyun Moo, Han Hye Jin, and Lee Si Eon... Lately, it feels like the studio is set up in a way of who Park Narae is close to and Kian and Lee Si Eon are being alienated... Especially with Kian it's more and more~

What the heck is up with some of these comments....
People shitting on Narae for decorating her new home and for moving into a bigger home...
it's not a surprise that celebrities make a lot of money and sis probably has a lot cause she's  literally one of the top celebrities in Korea right now
like do you expect her to live in an underground home or something?
That's even more unrealistic...

also I understand that Son Dam Bi's remarks towards Kian84 can come off as unnecessary, rude, and overboard but saying things like her brain structure must be weird and analyzing her behavior?
Sure, Dr. Phil 🙄🙄🙄

Say it with me now:
A variety show  👏🏻  is a variety show  👏🏻  don't misunderstand it  👏🏻

Comments like this makes me not want to watch or translate this show because people overanalyze everything, always finds something to complain about, and go all out on protecting their faves....

I miss the simpler days of 'I Live Alone' where people just enjoyed the interaction between the members and we occasionally had guest appearances that sometimes did feel too scripted (and we laughed about it) but there were also those that just showed us a daily life of a celebrity.

People also need to stop trying to relate to celebrities - they're not ordinary people.
They might appear to be fun and seem to have similar personalities as us but most of the things we see is something they project and even if they try to be their normal selves, keep in mind that they're still on camera and they're aware of the cameras.
It's alright to like a celebrity's image or how they project themselves on TV but don't assume that you know them.
